Job summary

Allied Universal in Warsaw, IN is seeking a part-time Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver. You will provide customer service to clients, monitor and patrol healthcare facilities, control access, and respond to incidents while upholding Allied Universal values.

This driving role requires a valid driver's license, 18+ (21+ for armed roles) and a high school diploma; background checks and a drug screen apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff during security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities and parking areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and notify appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately in site records.

As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond to alarm-related activity. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven values through teamwork.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, directing individuals to appropriate locations when needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
