Allied Universal, a leading security services provider, is seeking a Security Officer Security Clearance Patrol Compliance in El Segundo, CA. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service at an aerospace/defense site.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to restricted areas by verifying credentials and reporting access-control concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following site-specific procedures and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations in required reports and communicate information to Allied Universal leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Security Clearance Patrol Compliance in El Segundo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a high-profile aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $40.20 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas by verifying credentials, following visitor management procedures, and reporting access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
