Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and government facility personnel while carrying out security‑related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
• Report hazards, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and suspicious activity to the appropriate supervisor or site representative.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Mon 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM; Tue 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
