Allied Universal in Rochester, NY is seeking a Security Officer Dispatch with an active DoD Secret Clearance. You will monitor alarm and access-control activity, coordinate responses to incidents, maintain clear communications with on-site personnel, and provide exceptional customer service in a defense-focused environment.

This full-time role offers afternoon shifts Mon–Sun, pay rate of $22.00 per hour, and opportunities to grow within a fast-paced security team.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service, alarms, and other security-related incidents using established communication protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor communication systems, maintain accurate dispatch logs and incident records, and relay timely information to appropriate personnel.
• Support access-control and perimeter operations at an aerospace and defense location by reporting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.

Job Description

Security Officer Security Clearance Dispatch in Rochester, NY will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor alarm and access-control activity, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, maintain clear communications, and provide exceptional customer service. You will help maintain an orderly environment through accurate reporting and timely coordination. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM


• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM


• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM


• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.


• Alarm panel experience is preferred.


• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• A guard card or license is preferred.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
