Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Evansville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report observations. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing, production, warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting entries, incidents, and observations through required reporting tools.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication protocols.
• Support a professional, orderly workplace by maintaining a visible presence and communicating respectfully with personnel across the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
