Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for a screening operations role in Wichita Falls, TX. You will provide security and customer service at a busy logistics location, screen items, monitor access points, and respond to incidents.

The schedule supports part-time availability with weekend shifts. Qualified candidates have 6+ months security experience, basic computer comfort, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, packages, and personal property per procedures and report issues.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; direct authorized individuals as needed.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies following site procedures.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related screening protocols at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal property in accordance with established procedures, reporting prohibited items, irregularities, or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points, employee entrances, and designated screening areas; verify credentials and direct authorized individuals as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including the business, loading areas, and perimeter, and document observations and incidents in required reports.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
