Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while following security procedures.
• Screen authorized personnel, visitors, deliveries, and items entering designated areas.
• Monitor entry points, loading areas, and screening equipment; report unusual activity or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular patrols of the distribution location to deter unauthorized activity.

As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by monitoring access, screening individuals and/or materials, and reporting suspicious activity. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with team members, and help maintain smooth operations. Pay Rate: $17.43 / Hour

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Screen authorized personnel, visitors, deliveries, and/or items entering designated areas in accordance with established access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry points, loading areas, and screening equipment; report unusual activity, prohibited items, or policy concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution location, including the business, loading areas, and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
