Job Description

As a Security Officer Screening Inspection in Plainfield, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will support a welcoming, controlled environment by screening personnel, visitors, and/or materials in accordance with site procedures. You will maintain a professional presence, report security-related concerns, and provide clear, courteous communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access screening, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen individuals, credentials, and authorized property entering and leaving the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization, and document visitor, driver, and delivery activity as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting concerns through designated channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, operational spaces, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
