Allied Universal in Phoenix is seeking a Security Officer – Screening Compliance to protect clients across logistics sites. You will screen people and items, monitor access, and report security concerns with clear communication and professional presence.

The role is full-time with an hourly pay rate of $18.30. Duties include site screening, access control, incident response, and routine patrols to deter unauthorized activity and ensure safety.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, and permitted items entering designated areas in accordance with established procedures and applicable site requirements.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor activity, screening results, and unusual occurrences.
• Respond to incidents, prohibited-item findings, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

As a Security Officer - Screening Compliance in PHOENIX, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening people and/or materials, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping to deter incidents through a professional, visible presence. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
