Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific screening procedures and access protocols.
• Screen individuals, packages, and personal property entering or leaving the location per post orders and client guidelines.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, documenting details and notifying supervisors or authorities as needed.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials and shipping paperwork, deter unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular patrols and note security concerns and operational issues.

You will remain visible, assist with routine patrols, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.87 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Saturday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sunday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal property entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client guidelines, and report unusual findings or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting details and communicating with supervisors and/or local authorities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or shipping-related documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting security-related concerns, operational issues, and/or suspicious activity within the logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
