As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor site access, screen visitors and team members, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Thur: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
Fri: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
Sat: 04:00 AM – 11:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen persons, bags, packages, and/or vehicles entering or exiting the location in accordance with post orders and site requirements, and report irregularities to site leadership.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted or controlled areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and activities according to Allied Universal and site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around screening areas, operational spaces, and the perimeter, noting unusual conditions and communicating concerns to the appropriate contact.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
