Responsibilities

• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, maintain visitor logs, and support compliance with access requirements for restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents and security concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as needed per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas including entrances, parking areas, and employee access points to identify security concerns.
• Document daily activities and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Entry Screening in Camilla, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon - 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food production location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, maintain visitor logs, and support compliance with access requirements for restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, parking areas, perimeter locations, and employee access points, to help identify unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Support food facility operations by documenting daily activities, completing incident reports, and communicating relevant security-related information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
