Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required.
• Drug screen required where permitted.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and vehicles in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, observe loading areas, and report unusual activity or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner following escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and distribution operations.

As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening personnel and visitors, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly, and remain visible to help deter incidents. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.87 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or vehicles in accordance with site procedures, including verifying identification and maintaining access-control records.
• Monitor entry and exit points, observe loading and sorting areas, and report unusual activity, prohibited items, or policy concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and distribution operations; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
