Allied Universal in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Screening Assistance to safeguard clients and facilities. You will screen people and items, monitor access, and respond to security incidents while delivering welcoming customer service.

The role requires high school diploma, background check, and drug screening. Daytime schedule listed, with a starting pay of $16.82 per hour. This is a full-time on-site position in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or vehicles entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures and access requirements.
• Monitor screening equipment, access points, and alarm notifications; document observations and report unusual activity or prohibited items to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned distribution facility areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
