As a Screener in a logistics setting, you will support a professional, customer-focused security team with a strong emphasis on safety, integrity, and community impact. This is a full-time position with an hourly pay rate of $16.82.

Qualifications

• At least six months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• A background check will be conducted as required by law.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Screen packages, cargo, and other designated items per site procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel and visitors entering designated areas.
• Respond to incidents and report observations to site leadership.

As a Security Officer Screening Documentation in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and/or materials, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, use technology to document activities, and remain visible to help deter incidents. Pay Rate: $16.82 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen packages, cargo, and other designated items in accordance with site procedures and applicable screening requirements.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers entering designated areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and promptly report observations to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least six months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
