As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Services in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by monitoring access, screening personnel and/or packages, and reporting security-related concerns. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while providing professional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $16.82 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen individuals, packages, shipments, and accessible property in accordance with applicable procedures and site requirements.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, authorizations, and visitor documentation before permitting entry to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, prohibited-item findings, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, and the facility perimeter to help identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
