Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Screener - Unarmed in Pooler, GA. You will screen packages and people, maintain entry control, and provide professional customer service at a logistics site.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, reporting irregularities, and responding calmly to incidents. Preferred CPR and guard-card credentials; background checks and drug testing apply.

• Screen individuals, packages, and/or vehicles per site procedures and report prohibited items, irregularities, or access concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials or authorization when required, and maintain accurate screening-related records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following established emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will use X-ray screening equipment to review packages and materials, support access procedures, and report security-related concerns. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate professionally with team members and visitors, and help promote an orderly environment. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.87 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat - 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun - 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related screening activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or vehicles as directed by site procedures, reporting prohibited items, irregularities, or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials or authorization when required, and maintain accurate screening-related records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the facility perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
