Job Description

As a Security Professional - Screener Patrol in New Braunfels, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a SCREENER in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your presence and communication skills will contribute to a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and respond to situations as they arise. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Screen individuals entering the premises to verify authorization and maintain a secure environment.
• Monitor access points and report any suspicious activity or unauthorized entry.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, employees, and/or management as needed.
• Document incidents and observations according to site protocols.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Texas Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
