Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time - Screener in Pooler, GA to protect clients and assets across logistics and distribution sites. You will operate screening equipment, monitor access points, and assist with the inspection of people and property.

This role offers part-time hours with a schedule including evenings and weekends. Previous security or customer service experience is preferred, and a guard card or license is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while following security procedures.

• Monitor access points and screening equipment; report unusual activity to leadership.
• Respond calmly to incidents following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility and surrounding areas.

As a Security Officer Part Time - Screener in Pooler, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by operating screening equipment, monitoring access points, and assisting with the inspection of people and property.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.87 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Sat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Screen authorized personnel, visitors, packages, and vehicles entering or leaving the distribution location in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access points, shipping and receiving areas, and screening equipment, reporting unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
