Job summary

OPS Security Group is seeking professional Enhanced Security Officers for a people-facing security role at the Hope Center in New Castle, DE. This position requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to handle high-interaction environments while maintaining safety and security standards.

Responsibilities include monitoring, access control, patrolling, CCTV surveillance, incident reporting, and resident intake support.

Qualifications

• Valid Delaware Red Card required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
• Previous security, military, law enforcement, concierge, or service industry experience preferred.
• Strong communication and de-escalation skills.
• Basic computer knowledge (email, reports, Microsoft Office, etc.)
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and OPS training requirements.

• Conduct walking patrols throughout the property.

Preferred Experience

Candidates should meet at least one of the following:

• 3 years of military experience
• State or federally certified law enforcement academy training

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Ability to wear a security uniform
• Ability to pass Physical Agility Test

Additional Information

• CPR/AED/First Aid/BLS training preferred or ability to obtain
• Must maintain a clean and professional appearance
• Candidates cannot have previously worked at the Hope Center
