Securitas USA is seeking a part-time Security Officer for the Valley Park, MO area. The position involves monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling client sites to maintain a safe environment. Wages are listed at $19.46 per hour, with weekend shifts (12-hour) from 12:00 to 00:00.

The role emphasizes de-escalation, incident reporting, and strong customer service while coordinating with client employees and guests. Pre-employment screening is required.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must have a valid Driver's license.
• Driving record must meet company and/or insurance standards.
• Reliable means of transportation needed.
• Must be willing to participate in pre-employment screening including drug screen and background investigation.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid/effective judgment.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client's employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Security Officer's - Part Time

Primary Location: Valley Park, MO

Wage: $19.46/HR

12 Hour Shifts Weekends Only: 1200 - 0000

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

Basic Requirements:

• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
