Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer for a medical center location in Cutler Bay, FL. You will provide patient, visitor, and staff security services, conduct patrols, and support access control in a healthcare setting.

The role requires at least 1 year of security experience, hospital vaccination compliance, and the ability to work in a hospital morgue. Prior healthcare exposure and a valid license for driving roles are noted where applicable.

Qualifications

• Driver’s license required for driving roles only if applicable.

Responsibilities

Security Officer Part Time Medical Center Patrol

Cutler Bay, FL

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations involving individuals who may require restraint, and assist with access-related responsibilities in sensitive areas such as the morgue. Deliver compassionate customer service through clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access as directed, and reporting unauthorized activity or policy concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately; promptly communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Possess at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
