As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming presence for guests and staff. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible, and delivering outstanding customer service through clear communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day and shift availability are shown in the scheduling system. Example: Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM; Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM.

What You’ll Do

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols within the retail environment.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as needed regarding incidents or emergencies.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas within the retail location.
• Assist with crowd management and/or customer inquiries as needed to promote a welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
