As a **Security Officer - Retail Patrol** in **BAYONNE, NJ** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for customers and staff. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as they arise, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity in every interaction.

**Position Type: Part Time**

**Pay Rate: $15.60 / Hour**

Mon06:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Tue06:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sat06:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sun06:00 PM - 10:00 PM

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.

+ Observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site policies.

+ Support emergency response activities and follow established protocols during incidents.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity within the retail environment.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ New Jersey Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
