Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the retail location to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, reporting concerns per site procedures.
• Document incidents and patrol activities accurately and communicate with site management.

As a Security Officer Retail Patrol in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with customers, employees, and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 07:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Tue: 07:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Wed: 02:30 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:30 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:30 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe the location for unusual conditions or activity, reporting concerns according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
