Job summary

Allied Universal in Cincinnati, OH is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer Loss Prevention Patrol. You will provide customer service, monitor access points, patrol the retail location, report incidents, and support site policies.

This role is part-time with a fixed weekend schedule and offers opportunities to claim additional shifts via our platform. Requirements include at least 1 year of security experience, loss prevention experience preferred, high school diploma, and ability to pass

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas and entrances.
• Monitor access points and deter unauthorized access, theft, and policy violations.
• Document and report incidents, hazards, and unusual activity per site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.12 / Hour

1+ Years Security Experience Required

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 10:00 AM - 09:00 PM
• Sat: 10:00 AM - 09:00 PM
• Sun: 12:00 PM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exterior perimeter, and other assigned areas.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location to help deter unauthorized access, theft-related activity, and other policy violations.
• Document and report observed incidents, hazards, and unusual activity in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
