Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and employees by performing security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and concerns calmly, escalating according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols across retail areas, storefronts, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious activity or maintenance concerns to management.
• Document incidents and daily observations and communicate information to site management.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to concerns with professionalism. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Wed 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and daily observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
