As a Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Patrol Driver in NEW YORK, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and , when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with established facility procedures; direct visitors to appropriate service areas and provide clear information regarding site rules.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions requiring attention.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and visitor or access records in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
