Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Residential Full Time Patrol Driver in Chula Vista, CA. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide courteous service to residents and visitors while upholding site policies.

This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required depending on state.
• A clean driving record preferred.

As a Security Officer Residential Full Time Patrol Driverin Chula Vista, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service to residents and visitors. This role requires a valid driver’s license and offers the opportunity to represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to resident concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe vehicle and pedestrian activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
