Job summary

Allied Universal in San Diego is seeking a Security Officer for full-time overnight patrol driving a designated route at a residential community. You will provide high-quality customer service, monitor access, and respond to incidents in a calm, professional manner.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you’ll drive patrol routes, conduct routine checks, maintain visible presence, and document observations. This role requires a valid driver’s license and a High School diploma or equivalent; background

Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with established property procedures, documenting observations and incidents as required.
• Communicate professionally with residents, visitors, management, and/or emergency responders while maintaining accurate daily activity reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
