Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed) in Deer Park, TX. This role includes patrolling facilities, controlling access, and delivering excellent customer service at a chemical/petrochemical location.

You will be required to have a valid driver’s license and a TSA-issued TWIC, with work hours including 06:00 PM to 06:00 AM shifts across several days. The position emphasizes integrity, teamwork, and community safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors and contractors, and documenting entry and exit activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
• Prepare accurate reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate observations or security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed TWIC Badge Driver in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do

• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors and contractors, and documenting entry and exit activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
• Prepare accurate reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate observations or security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
