Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality's DoubleTree Denver property is seeking a Security Officer to protect guests and team members while delivering exceptional service. You will uphold safety policies, respond professionally, and work across departments to maintain a welcoming environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and security or police experience; hospitality background and First Aid/CPR certification are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• Hospitality/purchasing experience preferred.
• At least one year customer service experience preferred.
• 2 years Security or Police experience (military or civilian), hotel exposure preferred.
• 2 years of college in safety, security or hospitality related discipline.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• First Aid/CPR certification, instructor rating preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the safety policies and procedures of the property and Pyramid Global Hospitality, maintaining professionalism and teamwork.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for guests and associates.
• Reduce opportunities for crimes through preventive patrol and high security visibility, including parking lot patrol.
• Promote and preserve a peaceful, non-threatening environment for guests and employees.
• Assist individuals in danger or needing medical attention.
• Respond to emergencies per property procedures.
• Ensure security of guest and employee information in reports and operations.
• Complete all Daily Activity and Incident Reports.
• Support compliance with Liquor Laws.
• Assist in developing and presenting security-related programs.
• Review and edit written security records.
• Assist in other classifications as needed.
