Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Woonsocket, RI. This role offers flexible hours at an assigned site with opportunities to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

Pay rate is $17.01 per hour and the schedule currently includes Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM. The role provides income stability, training, and a pathway to full-time opportunity.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted.
• Drug screen will be conducted.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and medical emergencies following site protocols and notifying leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and entrances; monitor for unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; direct visitors to appropriate areas.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident and policy-related reports and communicate to site leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Property Protection in Woonsocket, RI, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.01 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including building entrances, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with access control and directing visitors to appropriate areas.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports for incidents, observations, and policy‑related concerns, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
