Allied Universal in Warwick, RI is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed for a flexible, site‑based role. The position offers reliable hours and the option to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform, with pay of $18.00 per hour.

You will perform customer service, monitor access, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents per site procedures, with a six‑month anchor shift commitment and opportunities to gain experience across sites.

• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution facility grounds, loading areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery driver check‑in procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities through required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Security in Warwick, RI, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
