Job summary

Allied Universal Bridgeton, MO is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer to patrol and safeguard client sites in a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will provide a visible security presence, answer questions, and respond to incidents as per site protocols.

The role offers a flexible part-time schedule with shifts including DayTime Tue 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Wed 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, and Thur 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of business areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as assigned, and maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and daily activity documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related observations, incidents, and service needs.
