Allied Universal in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Part Time Security Officer – Property Patrol to serve and safeguard clients across technology, media, and telecom environments. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced setting.

Shifts are Thursday through Saturday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with a pay rate of $17.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials and report unauthorized access or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document observations and notify site contacts or emergency responders.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications with a professional presence in a fast-paced technology environment.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Part Time Property Patrol in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment. Job Schedule:

• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced technology environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
