Allied Universal in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed) to monitor and safeguard client sites across Tech/Media/Telecom locations, provide exceptional customer service, and enforce site policies with integrity.

You will conduct regular patrols, control access at entrances, respond calmly to incidents and alarms, and document activities in detailed reports for leadership and site contacts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required; drug screen required where permitted.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Operations in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control and badge procedures, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout offices, common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, employee, and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Maintain detailed and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
