Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including offices, common areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting any unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access activity and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery processes in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations.
• Deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence and timely reporting of security-related concerns.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Access Control in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including offices, common areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while reporting unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access activity and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery processes in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations as required.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence, observation of assigned areas, and timely reporting of security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
