Job summary

HCA Florida Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville is seeking a PRN Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, physicians, and staff. You will patrol the facility, monitor security systems, and respond to incidents as needed.

As part of a large healthcare system, you’ll collaborate with security colleagues and hospital leadership to support safety initiatives and ensure a secure experience for all campus stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Current Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) Officer in good standing.
• Ability to respond to security-related incidents in a professional manner.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Availability to work PRN/as-needed shifts.

Job Summary:

The PRN Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a secure hospital environment, conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and assisting with safety and security needs throughout the facility.
