Job summary

Alliance is hiring Security Officers for our NYC premier Class-A properties. You will maintain a visible security presence, assist tenants and visitors, and enforce access control and safety policies to create a welcoming, secure environment.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of professional security experience, a valid NY State Security Guard License (with at least 3 months remaining), and are comfortable patrolling lobby, entrances, and common areas while reporting incidents using digital systems.

Qualifications

• 1 year of professional security experience.
• Valid NY State Security Guard License with at least 3 months remaining.
• FDNY credentials (F01, F03/F04) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Security Presence: patrol building, lobby, common areas, loading dock, parking, stairwells, and perimeter.
• Customer Service: greet tenants, visitors, vendors, and guests while maintaining security and service quality.
• Access Control: verify credentials, issue visitor passes, manage visitor compliance.

Alliance is hiring Security Officers. As a key member of the Corporate Security Team, the Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, employees, and clients. This role combines professional security practices with exceptional customer service to deliver a first-class experience at any one of our NYC premier Class-A commercial properties.

Responsibilities

• Security Presence: Conduct regular patrols of the building, lobby, common areas, loading dock, parking facilities, stairwells, and perimeter to maintain a visible security presence and identify potential safety concerns
• Customer Service Excellence: Provide a professional, courteous, and welcoming presence at building entrances, lobbies, and reception areas while delivering exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and guests
• Access Control: Monitor building access, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and ensure all visitors, contractors, and vendors comply with established security procedures
• Surveillance Operations: Monitor CCTV systems, access control platforms, alarms, and other security technology to detect and respond to unusual activity
• Security Reporting: Prepare accurate, detailed, and timely reports documenting incidents, observations, patrol activities, and daily operations using digital reporting systems
• Safety & Policy Enforcement: Enforce building rules, safety procedures, and security policies while maintaining a calm, respectful, and service-oriented approach
• Communication & Collaboration: Maintain effective communication with building management, tenants, property staff, and fellow security personnel to support daily operations and ensure a safe environment

Requirements

• Valid NY State Security Guard License (that won’t expire for 3 months)
• Minimum of 1 year of professional security experience
• Valid F01, F03/F04 FDNY credentials - a plus
