Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer for a pharma site in Lexington, MA. You will provide security services Fri-Sun, 3 PM to 11 PM, with starting pay of $22.00 per hour. A valid driver's license is required and orientation/training are provided.

The role focuses on unarmed security within healthcare/pharma settings, maintaining a visible security presence, and delivering excellent customer service while following site protocols.

Qualifications

Job Schedule:

Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM; Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM; Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a pharmaceutical healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, laboratories, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate observations and security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a professional environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
