Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a healthcare/pharma location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, labs, offices, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials to control entry to restricted areas.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations; notify site contacts and responders.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain activity logs of patrols and events.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a healthcare and pharmaceutical research location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, laboratories, offices, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, helping to control entry to restricted areas and protect confidential operations and materials.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrol observations, incidents, access-related concerns, and other security-related events.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
