Job summary

Allied Universal in San Francisco, CA seeks a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol Driver to safeguard clients across various facilities. You will perform vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide exceptional customer service while upholding a caring culture.

Minimum requirements include 2+ years of relevant security experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 20+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utility location by following site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas; verify visitor and contractor authorization.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, following site procedures and notifying leadership.
• Report hazards, damaged equipment, and suspicious activity to site contacts.

As a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol Driver in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a utility location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring culture that puts people first. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utility location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required entry, exit, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Report observed hazards, damaged equipment, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
