Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed Patrol Analytics) in South San Francisco, CA. You will monitor client sites, deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include patrolling, documenting observations, controlling access, and responding to incidents while upholding a professional, welcoming security team environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience using alarm panels preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business location and perimeter, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience using alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
