Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer for Patrol Technology Support in Aurora, IL. The role involves unarmed patrols, customer service, and reporting using tablet tools, with a pay rate of $18.72 per hour.

Schedule includes Saturday and Sunday shifts, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, at a food and beverage production location. You will monitor access, perform site observations, respond to incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a food and beverage production location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility grounds, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
