As an Unarmed Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will complete routine patrols, communicate professionally, and provide customer service while reflecting Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.72 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 02:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading docks, perimeter, and other assigned areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Observe food and beverage facility operations for security-related concerns, report hazards or irregularities to appropriate personnel, and support site-specific access and asset protection protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
