Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Support in Taunton, MA. This role provides reliable, fixed shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts to earn more while contributing to a security team.

Pay rate is $21.50 per hour. Schedule includes DayTime Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM. Responsibilities include customer service, access control, incident response, and patrols across office, lab, and perimeter areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors and contractors while following security procedures and emergency response.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate appropriately.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office, lab and perimeter areas to identify and report anomalies.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity and maintain accurate documentation.
• Report maintenance concerns, policy violations and other security issues to proper personnel.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Support in Taunton, MA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout technology‑focused office, laboratory, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and assigned areas while maintaining professional communication and accurate documentation.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and other security‑related issues to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
