Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Maple Grove, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and assist patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism. Through clear communication, routine reporting, and teamwork, you will help create a welcoming environment while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare-related facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs for incidents, patrols, access activity, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
