Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Route in Gilbert, AZ to monitor areas, deter incidents, and provide professional customer service at a logistics and distribution site. The role is full-time with a pay rate of $21.00 per hour, and the schedule runs Tue–Sat from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of security experience and a high school diploma. A background check and drug screening are required where permitted by law, with licensing requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform regular unarmed patrols of the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry/exit activity and verify visitor/contractor access per site policies.
• Maintain clear communication with site contacts and leadership and complete shift reports.

• Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifications according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and contractor access as directed by site policies, and report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain clear communication with site contacts, dispatch, and Allied Universal leadership while completing required reports and shift documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
