• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel and visitors.
• Document patrol observations and communicate findings to Allied Universal leadership.

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a defense-focused location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. Pay Rate: $24.18 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site policies.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns in required reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
